Grinders Hockey EXCELeration 4 on 4 Spring Hockey program is for boys and girls born from 1996 to 2003.  Each one hour and 15 minute ice time will start with a 20 to 30 minute power skating session followed by 40 to 45 minutes of 4 on 4 or 3 on 3 hockey.  GHE is a program for kids that want to continue to play hockey after the MHAC season ends, improve their skills and have fun learning and improving their game. 

GHE runs from the beginning of April until the middle of June, with 2 ice times per week for Novice, Atom, Pee Wee and Bantam age players and 1 time a week for Timbits age players.  All of the ice times are held during the week.  The 2010 sessions will be played Monday's and Wednesday's at Crowfoot Arena and Friday's at Cardel Place.  The cost is $500.00 including GST for the Novice/Atom and Pee Wee/Bantam programs.  There is also a Part Time option for the Novice/Atom and Pee Wee/Bantam groups if your player is involved in another activity.  Find a partner to share your spot, where you each play one day a week, the cost for this option is $285.00 per player including GST. 

The Lil Grizzlies program will be played on Wednesday's at Crowfoot Arena.  The cost for the Lil Grizzlies program is $250.00 including GST.  The Lil Grizzlies program is a full ice program for boys and girls born in 2003 and 2004.  Lil Grizzlies will have 20 to 30 minutes of practice and power skating followed by 45 minutes of 5 on 5 hockey.  Please note this is not a learn to skate program.

Each player’s registration fee will include:

Novice/Atom & Pee Wee/Bantam - two 1.25 hour ice times per week, personalized GHE sweater, matching socks.

Lil Grizzlies - one 1.25 hour ice time per week, personalized GHE sweater, matching socks.

Optional Tracksuit $85.00 - Comes with embroidered

name on left sleeve, number on right sleeve and GHE Grizzlies logo on left chest.

The group each player registers in will be determined by their birth year, i.e. Lil Grizzlies - 2003 & 2004 birth dates, Novice/Atom - 2000 to 2002 birth dates, Pee Wee/Bantam - 1996 to 1999 birth dates.  Players may be placed in a different group based on their playing ability to allow them to contribute and handle the puck more regularly.
